"A beautiful, deep dive, educative experience"
- Kate, Warrandyte
Much more than just a walk in nature, Forest Therapy supports wellbeing & healing through a fusion of gentle, sensory activities with the natural world. With a curious & open approach, this type of connection provides space to slow down, rest & connect with nature in ways that bring lasting inner peace.
Backed by extensive research, it is specific components of nature that provide the benefits of a Forest Therapy walk. Collectively named phytoncides, they reduce stress hormones, blood pressure and anxiety while also boosting immunity, positive moods & clarity of mind. In our hectic world, these benefits are needed more than ever, making connection to the nature around us a reliable support system for our health.
Experiencing nature connection with a certified guide allows you to relax and completely unwind. Walks with Temple4 Forest Therapy can be customised for private, corporate or one-one experiences.
Sharing my love of nature's sweet wilderness is a great pleasure.
With an early life in England surrounded by hedgerows & rambling rose lanes, my playground then became Australia's unique bushland after my parents immigrated their family to this wide & ancient land. Camping in the wilderness was a regular past time, while later in life deeper connections were fostered through vision questing - a traditional Native American practice of sitting for days in nature under open skies. This taught my soul be thankful for this extraordinary, nurturing planet we live on and today - along with a love of trees, forests & gardens - her invitation to rest in all that is beautiful is my raison d'etre... my reason to be.
Qualifying as a guide with the International Nature & Forest Therapy Alliance & with a working history in well-being, live theatre & education, I embody a variety of skills. I cannot think of a better way to spend my days sharing these with you, & I look forward to introducing you to this gentle, engaging & highly beneficial practice.
